An almost impossible everyday life is revealed. The only way forward is together.
Between dreams, escape, and reality, a daily routine has set in, in which the state of emergency has become the apparent norm. “You should dream that you’re flying.” The film establishes an indispensable closeness to children in a German camp, without reducing them to their marginalization. The children are active collaborators who narrate, create, and present themselves.
